Mochras is the gum of the Bombax malabaricum tree, also known as the Silk Cotton Tree or Red Kapok Tree.Mochras has many uses, including: Medicine: Used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat a variety of conditions, including diarrhea, dysentery, bleeding piles, irregular periods, and uterine infections. It's also used as an ingredient in Pushyanug Churna, which treats gynecologic disorders.Bookbinding: Used in bookbinding.Cosmetics: Used in cosmetics.Thickening: Used to thicken ice cream.Aphrodisiac: Known to be an aphrodisiac when consumed with Gur and Cow's milk.
