Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia), also known as Giloy in Hindi, Amruthavalli & sugar Valli in Malayalam, Amruthaballi in Kannada, and Seenthil Kodi in Tamil, is a powerful climbing shrub belonging to the Menispermaceae family. It has distinctive heart-shaped leaves and smooth greenish stems. Widely valued in Ayurveda, Guduchi is considered a potent immunity booster, anti-inflammatory, and detoxifying herb that promotes overall vitality. Its naturally bitter taste helps purify the body and balance the three doshas — Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
